Following a hearty breakfast, the day has warmed up sufficient to take a dip in my personal plunge pool. The water is refreshing and after lunch, I’m booked for a spa remedy. The climate is just not enjoying alongside for our recreation drive or scheduled bush dinner, however plans could be modified, and chef Terrence has outdone himself with essentially the most scrumptious oxtail potjiekos (small-pot meals). It’s our final recreation drive, and the rain has created a clean canvas for animal tracks. We head to the western facet of the reserve, the place rolling hills and open plains showcase the magic that’s discovered on this a part of South Africa.
